Dynamic, fast-growing UK company Reidmark is expert in producing internet-based business systems.
The company’s flagship products are IAGmanager (a customer relationship management application), SMBmanager (financial software for small-to-medium businesses) and RSLmanager (social housing management software).
Reidmark’s RSLmanager is a social housing management application specifically tailored for community housing organisations. With the success of RSLmanager in the UK, Reidmark was looking to expand into other markets and Australia presented as an attractive opportunity, as the community housing sector is playing an increasingly significant role in this country, bolstered by strong encouragement from the various state governments.
Reidmark had limited understanding of the Australian context and key players and wanted to engage with a local partner to best tackle the market. Reidmark contracted the services of Bastille to provide event management and market research services in introducing the product into the Australian market.
Bastille provided an initial assessment of the product in its UK context, ‘Australianised’ messages, developed a list of target customers in Australia and managed an interstate road-show for the product.
Bastille then managed a number of opportunities in Australia for Reidmark that were a direct result of the successful road-show, liaising with the Reidmark team in the UK.
Everyone involved in the road-show felt that it was a highly successful and targeted foray into the Australian market. Reidmark then engaged Bastille for further business development and marketing services in order to ensure the product was successfully promoted in the Australian marketplace.
