Damien Kenny - Managing Director and Business Development Consultant
Damien has over 15 years experience in Business Development and Account Management in the IT industry selling into diverse industries including Public Sector, Finance, Manufacturing and Retail. He has held roles as the Business Development Director for the Asia Pacific operations of Anite Plc as well as the Sales Manager for Australian systems integrator Expert Information Services. In his career to date, Damien has successfully concluded commercial engagements valued at A$23m.
Damien holds two Bachelor degrees in Commerce (majoring in Management) and Business Systems from Monash University.
Mark Jeanes - Director, Renewables
Mark has a broad set of skills and experience invaluable to any renewable energy company wishing to expand into Australia’s rapidly growing market. He has a strong knowledge of the local renewable scene (particularly solar) and a wide set of contacts in both the private and public sectors. Mark has experience in sales and marketing, import contract negotiation and import customs arrangements.
A former corporate banker and project manager with experience in European and Australian banks, Mark also has know-how in raising capital, and running start-ups as an entrepreneur. He understands first-hand the pressures that face an international business seeking a foothold in a new market.
Mark holds a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment and a Bachelor of Business Systems from Monash University, one of Australia’s leading institutions.
Jane Herring - Marketing Services Director
Jane has more than 14 years experience in services marketing across both public and private sectors, and has worked in the IT, financial services, media, telecommunications, environmental sciences and facilities management fields.
Jane’s skills have been utilised both domestically and internationally with experience in the US & UK markets, and extensive experience in branding, web marketing and marketing communications. She has helped a number of companies build sustainable, results-driven marketing programmes including Visa Corporation, Expert IS (now Infosys), Anite International, Changing Directions, Radio Terminal Systems (RTS), Monash Council, GJK Facility Services.
In 2004 and 2005, Jane also represented the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) in Bangladesh/Thailand and Nepal/Sri Lanka as part of an IT Mentor Programme and is currently part of the Monash University programme mentoring Masters Students in Marketing.
Jane has a Bachelor of Business Management from RMIT University and a post graduate qualification in Marketing from Monash University.
Christina Kortesis – Principal Consultant - Marketing
Formerly the Asia Pacific Marketing Manager for Interact Commerce Corporation (now Sage), Christina is a Senior Marketing specialist with high-level expertise in Technology, CRM, Transport and Telecommunications.
Bringing more than 10 years experience in both local and international markets, Christina is skilled in identifying new business opportunities and can provide valuable knowledge and advice to any client looking to do business in the Asia Pacific region. Christina has had extensive experience in the development and implementation of Channel Marketing programmes, providing mentoring and guidance to partners for the execution of marketing and lead generation activities.
Christina has a Bachelor of Business from Monash University (majoring in Marketing).
Ben Scheltus – Principal Consultant – Environmental Technology
Ben Scheltus has a broad background in engineering, economic evaluation, energy systems and business development - in Europe and Australia. Ben has worked in the chemical, information technology and education industries. He has successfully run his own business for many years. For ten years he held a position as a Director of a large private school. He has a particular interest in the practice of good governance.
Ben has a deep understanding of the Australian market and the realities of running a start-up business. He has a long-standing interest in the environment – in particular energy systems and more efficient methods of generating power. Ben has just completed his first year of a Master’s environmental program at the University of Melbourne.
Ben has a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Patricia Scheltus – Principal Consultant – Environmental Technology
Patricia Scheltus has a background in event management, marketing and business development. Patricia’s experience has centred on the internet and telecommunications industries in Australia. She has run a start-up business and is very experienced in the financial and administration aspects.
Patricia has considerable knowledge and experience in the telecommunications industry in Australia. She was closely involved in the establishment of one Australia’s major ISP’s.
Emma Hamilton – Project Manager/Business Analyst
Emma has worked in roles in the IT, financial services, and most recently the telecommunications industry accumulating more than 13 years experience across both public and private sectors. During her career she has held roles as a business analyst, senior consultant, business analysis manager and most recently IT Group Manager.
Emma’s most recent roles were at Telstra Corporation where she worked as a Release Manager and Business Analysis Manager where she oversaw 50 business analysts. She was subsequently promoted to Group Manager – Retail & Distribution where she was responsible for the performance of all Telstra’s customer service applications within the IT business unit. Prior to Telstra, Emma worked as a business analyst and senior consultant at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
